It’s been a minute since we’ve dined at Coal Vines and it was a reminder why this needs to be our spot. Their Triple Roni pizza was delicious. Highly recommend!
I came here last night with my family .We tried 4 different pizzas , drunken meat lovers, Vodka pie, Greek pizza, and the spicy Italian. We also order the wine which was fabulous selection. The pizza all tasted fabulous but the sauce on the pizza was overly salty. Maybe that night they poured a little heavy on the salt! The pizza crust was phenomenal and the crisp was perfect. Overall it was a great experience but the salt kinda ruined the food for me.
Delicious pizza! Nice chewy crust and perfectly foldable New York style. The fresh garlic topping isn’t too overpowering and all toppings are perfectly cooked. No raw onions just strewn across the top.
We feel special when we go to Coal Vines Southlake. The owner, Darren, always greets us and gives us the latest scoop on the new wines and ingredients he’s using to enhance our dining experience. He spends quality time with all the patrons and it’s the most genuine and professional behavior we’ve seen in a long time. J.C. our bartender, is an absolute genius with his smoked old fashioned and affogato mixes. J.C. always has a great smile and works hard to make us smile from his delicious creations!! Smiles are contagious in this place. We highly recommend anything he serves. Jennifer our server, takes great care of us and knows what we want before we do. She’s friendly, efficient and incredibly attentive. We love interacting with everyone at Coal Vines!!!! The food is high quality with more than fair price points. Generous servings and the beautifully plated food is impressive. The drinks are expertly curated and crafted. Check out the pics of the food and drinks. We tried the cheese, triple pepperoni, veggie, and drunken meat lovers pizzas from Coal Vines, and every single one was fantastic. The crust was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of char, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The triple pepperoni was loaded without being greasy, and the drunken meat lovers had a bold, rich taste that really stood out. Even the classic cheese pizza was exceptional – simple but done right. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality pizza in Southlake!
My husband and I were running errands in the area, and we decided to try Coal Vines for an early Saturday dinner. We were so glad that we did! This is a cozy Italian eatery with a vintage charm. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our server was kind, attentive, and offered several suggestions. My husband said the pizza crust was one of the best he’s ever tasted. Note: Keep your eyes open when looking for the restaurant, as it’s a little tucked away between retail storefronts. But it has plenty of easy parking available!
Coal Vines is my go to spot in Southlake for pizza and a casual pasta. Always consistent, I’ve been coming to Coal Vines since they were in Dallas off Maple years ago. JC at the bar runs the show...make sure to stop by. The Vodka pizza will not disappoint. 10/10
This was my second visit. Their pizza is exceptional. My favorite is the chicken bacon ranch. I'm from the northeast and love pizza. This place can go toe to toe with the best of them. We will be back!
